PESHAWAR: Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Government on Monday has announced compensation package for the rain affected people of the province.
The package includes three hundred thousand rupees for each deceased, one hundred thousand rupees for each critically injured person, fifty thousand rupees for each injured, one hundred thousand rupees for owner of each completely damaged house and fifty thousand rupees for each partially damaged house.
The district administration and Provincial Disaster Management Authority have been ordered to expedite relief activities in Shangla, Swat, Dir, Kohistan, Dir and other areas.
Various roads, including Chitral- Boni- Mastuj, Murree-Muzaffarabad, Malam Jabba-Alpuri, Chitral-Garamchasma and parts of Karakoram Highway (KKH) are opened for traffic.
According to ISPR, army engineers are putting up their best efforts along with heavy machinery including engineer plants, loaders and excavators for opening up of communication infrastructure.
