Anam Tanveer, youngest celebrity breaking the stereotype

Pakistan is the country that is blessed with abundance of youth population. According to UNESCO, Pakistan has 60% of young population that can be biggest assets if involved constructively in the socioeconomic activities at national level but unfortunately our policies lack initiative to involve the youth in the overall social, economic and cultural reconstruction of the country.

However, despite confronting with such bleak scenario, there is no need to lose hope as there are young and talented individuals both male and female who have shown unparallel activism and interststo repair the  bruised image of the society . One such individual is Anam Tanveer who posses beauty, boldness, initiative and above all have appetite to contribute something towards changing the society. So this urge on her part has driven her to be a a part of the campaign whether it is for human right, children rights or extremism which is the main menace of our society today.

Our women folk, especially youg girls face lots of problems while participating in the social activities due to religious, cultural taboos but Anam has always defied such taboos and has remained the part every compaignthat is designed to promote awareness in the society against social evils.

After graduating from the SZABIST in MBA marketing, Anam made forays into showbiz industry. She is a new and beautiful face of the industry. She is very much talented and able to play every type of character. Before joining the electronic media, she has been writing for various newspapers, magazines and online forums such as Dawn, Pakistan State Times, Business Recorder, and The News Tribe.

It’s a stereotyped that most people think that not too literate people having good sense of humour and enthusiasm of being a reasonable citizen doesn’t really peruse coming into showbiz industry. But having said that there are lots of people  who are still breaking the stereotype and she is one of them.

Anam Tanveer is a famous TV actress having a unique scene of humour, and a unique personality, she started her career from PTV home as a host (later, acting became as her most beloved profession).

Interestingly, the hobbies and activities she had been involved into are rare to be seen in an actor and this defiles his or her being versatile. Her contribution to national youth parliament in 2012 was phenomenal, as she was elected as house women speaker. Since then her activities didn’t diminish. Being associated with slot of newspapers such as dawn, business recorder, Aaj TV blog, TheNewsTribe blog, and what not. She has written on various platform in support of democracy and state unity, global warming, floods, etc

So far she has played roles in following TV serials. Mere dard Ko Jo zuba milay (HUM TV), Behkay kadam (Express TV) Bhabi(ARY), dil e barbad (ARY), Joru ka Ghulam (HUM TV) Bahu raniyan (Express ) are one of her famous plays till now.

She had endorsed national and international both the brands, as Pepsi, olpers, Telenor (easy card), PEL stabilizer.

While recognizing her talent and services for the cause of youth, Dr. Isharat ul Ebad Khan, Governor Sindh, awarded Anam Youth Icon Award for her active role in Youth Parliament on an occasion of Youth Parliament Oath Taking Ceremony held at Governor House , Karachi on 31^st March, 2016.
