KARACHI: Pakistan’s most awaited action thriller movie MAALIK is all set for nationwide release on April 8, 2016. MAALIK is written, directed and produced by Ashir Azeem. The movie stars Sajid Hasan, Adnan Shah Tipu, Hassan Niazi, Farhan Ally Agha, Tatmain Ul Qulb and Ashir Azeem himself in leading roles.
MAALIK is the story of Pakistan’s Elite Special Forces soldier whose life gets entangled with politics. They soon realize that serving the nation is more complicated than simply following orders.
Maalik is a moving tale of ownership with a tag line “Mein Pakistan Ka Shehry Pakistan Ka Malik Hoen”. Using the backdrop of a kidnapping case, the movie renders into the world of VIP culture and political instability in Pakistan.
The movie is being released by Footprint Entertainment. Director Ashir Azeem seems to be returning with a big bang two decades after his hit TV drama serial ‘Dhwaan’.
