LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket team’s doctor for Asia Cup T20 and World Twenty20 2016 Dr Sohail Salim has resigned from his post, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
Dr Sohail Saleem, who served Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) senior general manager of medical and sports science, had rendered his resignation to the board during New Zealand tour, but continued to work as team’s doctor for Asia Cup and WT20 2016.
“Have nothing to do with team’ poor performance during mega event, Â I had informed PCB about my resignation before WT20, but continued as team’s doctor on PCB chief’s request.” said Dr Sohail after the meeting with PCB chief Sheharyar Khan.
