Afridi refuses to appear before Fact Finding Committee

LAHORE: Captain Pakistan Cricket Team Shahid Afridi refused to appear before Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Fact Finding Committee today in Qaddafi Stadium, Lahore.

Afridi, who was supposed to present his case before the fact finding committee, refused to travel to Lahore because his daughter was unwell; asked committee to take his interview on phone.

Muhammad Yusuf and Misbah ul Haq also did not come to the committee whereas, Javed Miandad rejected the PCB invitation to attend the committee.

PCB has extended invitations to several other crickets including former cricketer and coach Mohsin Hasan Khan and legendary player Tausif Umer. However, none of the said players accepted the invitation.
