ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Army, Pakistan Rangers and Police officials in early morning operations through out Punjab arrested over 200 suspects and a list of 1600 suspects has been compiled by the law enforcement and security agencies.
According to the reports, 26 important suspects in the Lahore blast were also among the arrested whereas, investigation in the blast matter also revealed that one of the suspects had been working for banned Sipah-e-Sahaba and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi. It is also revealed that he recruited several more in Southern Punjab including Multan and other cities.

Operations in various cities began around 3:00 am last morning and were carried out until 5:00 am, around 200 arrests have been reported whereas a list of 1600 suspected terrorists and facilitators has been circulated among the law enforcement organizations and security agencies.
Operations were conducted in Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, Jehlum, Khanewaal among the various cities in Punjab.
