MOHALI: Pakistan Twenty20 skipper Shahid Afridi has accepted on the field that they [ Pakistan] were not good enough to win this game, and congratulated Australia for the win.
Talking to presenter in Post-Match ceremony Afridi said, “First of all, I want to congratulate Australia. Honestly, we were not good enough. The last four overs, we gave 40 runs.”
Speaking off his retiremetn, he said: “When I go back home, in the first 4-5 days I will make the decision[on the retirement]. I will announce it in my country. There is pressure, media pressure. I have enjoyed my captaincy.”
