You know what you are allergic to, so avoid the exposure. You may be tired of hearing the cliché that prevention is better than cure. So, take it as a solution not a cliché.

Opening your window wide to let the fresh air in

Fresh air can bring a lot much other things as well, which necessarily include Pollen. So, use air conditioner, some of which can help filter pollens.

Taking shower in morning

It is highly recommended to take shower at night before going to bed as it will leave the pollens behind which you brought in with you.

Rubbing itchy eyes after you are out

There is a fat chance you have pollen on your hands and when you rub them on your eyes the allergy gets worse. So, wash your eyes before rubbing your eyes.

Driving with windows down

Just close the windows and push that recycled air button.

Yes, your diet can also be responsible for worsening your allergy. This syndrome is called pollen food allergy syndrome (PFAS). It is also known as oral allergy syndrome. You might eat some fresh apples and your body would think you have just eaten ragweed.
