ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif in a meeting with U.S Ambassador David Hale stated that the strategic partnership between United States and Pakistan is of prime importance for both countries.
Pakistani premier also discussed several matters of national importance with the US Ambassador to Pakistan. He said that there are six working groups under Pak US strategic cooperation dialogue. Working groups are identifying avenues of improvement.
He said that Pakistan would like to extend the strategic relation for economic development in Pakistan. “I will further my discussion on Pak US strategic relationship with President Barack Obama during my visit to United States,” he added.
American ambassador Hale praised Pakistani efforts for peace in Afghanistan. Four nation forum would be helpful for peace in Afghanistan.
