Daesh claims responsibility for Brussels explosions

BRUSSELS: Daesh (Islamic States for Syria and Iraq) a terrorist group has claimed the responsibility for brutal Brussels attacks in which more than 30 people have died so far.

A series of blasts hit the Belgian capital earlier in the day, including two explosions in the Brussels Zaventem airport that left 13 people killed and 35 injured.

Minutes later,explosions at the Maalbeek and Schuman metro stations in central Brussels killed Ten people there,local media reported, citing police.

The blasts in Brussels come just days after Salah Abdeslam, the mastermind behind the November Paris Attacks, was arrested in Belgium.
