LAHORE: Pakistani famous singer, who sung national anthem before Pakistan-India match, Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan apologised over messing up the anthem, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

The singer posted on his Facebook page that technical glitches while the anthem was being sung gave the impression of him forgetting the lyrics. But he said that the reality was quite opposite.

“I admit that there were a few audio & technical glitches that may have sounded like lyrical errors & I will surely apologise for not being able to win your praises this time, but assure you that I had by no means “forgotten” our beloved Qaumi Tarana” he stated.
