KOLKATA: Pakistan swashbuckling opener Ahmed Shehzad has termed the high-voltage clash between Pakistan and India today as ‘just another game’ for him.
Shehzad was speaking to ESPNcricinfo in an exclusive interview.
In response to a question Shehzad mentioned that there are no any ‘special preparations’ to cop Indian pacers, and they [Pakistan] are taking it very normal.
“Honestly, No! I’v played here in Champions League, See if you talk to senior players, India-Pakistan is always a nerve game, whoever controls the nerve pattern, comes out he victorious.”
“We’ve been doing lot of practice whenever there is India-Pakistan, lots of pressure is there lots of noises, media, you know. But, this time we’re taking it very lightly, just another game.”
While commenting on Eden Gardens pitch and conditions, Shehzad stated that the pitch is a little slow, but as you spend more time on it, it becomes heaven for you [batsman].
