ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicted that widespread rain-thundershower with gusty winds is expected in KP, FATA, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha divisions, Islamabad and Kashmir, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
According to details, isolated heavy falls are expected in Malakand, Hazara, Rawalpindi divisions and Kashmir. Scattered rain-thundershower is expected in Quetta, Zhob, Sibbi, Makran, Kalat, Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, D.G Khan divisions and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Few hail storms are also expected in upper KP (Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan divisions) and Potohar region.
While issuing flood warning, PMD mentioned in a statement that heavy down pour may generate flash flooding in upper KP (Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan), FATA, Rawalpindi division, Islamabad and Kashmir.
Possibility of landslides/avalanches in hilly areas of upper KP, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir will be high during the period.
During next 48 hours, Widespread rain-thundershower is expected in upper KP (Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan divisions), FATA, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala divisions, Islamabad and Kashmir. Isolated heavy falls with few hailstorm in Malakand, Hazara, Rawalpindi divisions and Kashmir.
