President Turkmenistan arrives in Islamabad on two-day visit

ISLAMABAD: President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived at Islamabad along with cabinet minister on Wednesday, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif and other federal ministers welcomed the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at Noor Khan Air Base, Islamabad.

His visit is being undertaken on the invitation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, according to a statement issued by the Foreign Office in Islamabad on Tuesday.

 The Foreign Office said that during his visit, the Turkmenistan president will hold separate meetings with his Pakistani Counterpart Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

A business forum comprising Turkmen and Pakistani businessmen will also be organized on the sidelines of the visit.
