MANSOORA: Ameer of Jamaat-e-lslami (JI) Siraj ul Haq claimed that Women Rights Bill will destroy family system in Pakistan, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
While addressing a meeting of heads of religious parties at Mansoora, he said that Islam is against the violence but this bill will increase the ratio of divorces in country.
Council of Islamic Ideology also declared Women Rights Bill against teaching and laws of Islam. He asked Punjab Assembly to take this bill back.
Earlier on Monday, Chief of Jamiat Ulema Islam-F (JUI-F), Fazal ur Rehma met with Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz on his invitation and discussed the bill passed by Punjab Assembly under the title “Women Rights Bill.”
According to details, PM Nawaz invited JUI-F chief and tried to convince him over the issue of Women Rights Bill passed by Punjab Assembly.
While talking to media persons, Fazal ur Rehman told that PM Nawaz agreed to pull out the articles that are against Islamic laws and constitution of Pakistan.
“PM Nawaz vowed to formulate committee the review women rights bill and any article that is against Islamic laws will be eliminated,” he said.
