KOLKATA: Skipper of Pakistan T20 cricket team, Shahid Afridi likely to miss first group match of International Cricket Council (ICC) Twenty20 Cricket World Cup 2016, against Bangladesh at Eden Gardens cricket stadium, Kolkata, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
According to reports, Shahid Afridi is suffering from high fever and he missed the training session. Shahid Afridi not left his room and miss the training session held before Pakistan-Bangladesh match.
Shahid Afridi will also not available for pre-match press conference and head coach Waqar Younis will talk to media persons.
Wicket-keeper cum batsman Sarfraz Ahmed will lead the Pakistan team in the first group match of cricket world cup 2016.
Team management no announced any decision regarding his availability for Pakistan-Bangladesh match but the situation will be cleared in few hours.
