KOLKATA: Team management of Pakistan cricket team bring back the smile on the faces of Pakistani cricket fans with the news that Shahid Afridi will play the first group match of International Cricket Council (ICC) Twenty20 Cricket World Cup, 2016.
Team Management clarified that Skipper of Pakistan t20 team will play the match against Bangladesh at Eden Gardens cricket stadium, Kolkata.
Team Manager Initikhab Alam told that Shahid Afridi is recovering quickly. T20 captain is suffering from fever and he also missed the practice session before Pakistan-Bangladesh.
Sources said that if Afridi missed the match then Sarfraz Ahmed will lead the Pakistan team in the first group match of mega event.
