BERLIN: Car bomb blast took life of a driver on Tuesday in the capital city of Germany, Berlin, TheNewsTribe.com learnt international media.
The man was reportedly driving in the Charlottenburg neighbourhood of Berlin on Tuesday morning when police say his car exploded, according to broadcaster NTV.
Police reported on Twitter that they were operating under the assumption that an explosive device had been the cause, adding that officers are currently at the scene to examine the vehicle for explosives.
According to latest development, security forces arrived at site and started the search operation. The deputy chief spokesman for Berlin police, Carsten Mueller, told that “investigators are working on the assumption that it was an explosive device” inside or on the vehicle that caused the blast.
