Pakistan vs Sri Lanka: Mohammad Sami to miss first warm up match

KOLKATA: Pakistani pacer Mohammad Sami who got injury during practice session at Eden Gardens Cricket Ground, Kolkata, will miss the first warm up match of Twenty20 Cricket World 2016, against Bangladesh, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

According to reports, Mohammad Sami is not completely fit and he needs couple of days to get his fitness back. Team management revealed that Mohammad Sami will be available for important match of International Cricket Council (ICC) Cricket World Cup 2016, Pakistan vs Indian that is schedule to play at Eden Gardens on March 19.

Pakistan and Sri Lanka will clash today (Monday) in the ICC WT20 2016 warm-up match at Eden Garden Kolkata.

Though, both team are fairly equal as far as their batting woes are concerned, but Pakistan have clear edge in the bowling department.

This can be an interesting match to watch, which can provide Pakistan a good practice before they take on Asia Cup finalist teams, Bangladesh and India on the same venue.

The match will start at 14:30 according to Pakistan Standard Time (PST).
