Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by 15 runs in ICC WT20 2016 warm-up

KOLKATA: Courtesy to Mohammad hafeez’s brilliance, Pakistan have defeated Sri Lanka in their first and last warm-up match of ICC World Twenty20 by 15 runs at Eden Garden, Kolkata.

Batting first, Pakistan set up a sizable total of 157/5 against Sri Lanka.

Mohammad Hafeez top scored 70 runs off just 49 balls helped Pakistan to put upa a good total on the board.

Shahid Afridi disappointed again as he went for duck.

Sri Lanka in reply were off to a shaky start as they lost their in-form batsman Dilshan for zero, but Chandimal (30) carried on the inning with Thiramane (45).

Once they both left the crease, thanks to Imad Waseem’s brilliant bowling. Pakistan had made a strong grip on the game and in the end, restricted Sri Lanka on 142/9 and won it by 15 runs.

Imad took four wickets 25 runs.
