KOLKATA: Skipper of Pakistan cricket team Shahid Afridi has won the toss and elected to bat first against Sri Lanka in the first warm up match of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Cricket World Cup at Eden Gardens cricket stadium, Kolkata, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
Shahid Afridi decided to bat first and gave his batsman to set mammoth total on scoreboard and boost the moral before group matches of T29 world cup.
Pakistan paceman Mohammad Sami, who received an ankle injury during net session yesterday, is unlikely in today’s game.
