17 killed in rain related incidents in FATA

PESHAWAR: At least 17 people were killed and 39 others sustained in rain related incidents in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) during last week, TheNewsTribe.com reported. 

According to FATA Disaster Management Authority (FDMA) submitted the report, in which revealed that at least 17 people were killed in rain related incidents.

A per reports, at least 18 houses were destroyed and several houses were damaged due to the heavy rain hits FATA and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) expected that more rain-thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills is expected at Scattered places in Kashmir, Islamabad, upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala divisions), upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan divisions), Gilgit-Baltistan and FATA while at isolated places in Kohat, Lahore, Sargodha and Makran divisions.

Dry weather is expected in elsewhere in the country.
