DHARAMSHALA: Bangladesh cricket team on Sunday set mammoth total of 180 runs for Oman courtesy Tamim Iqbal’s brilliant innings in a qualifying match of International Cricket Council (ICC) Twenty20 Cricket World Cup 2016, played at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
Batting first Bangladeshi openers showed brilliant form and put bowlers of Oman on back. Tamim Iqbal who played excellent first season of Pakistan Super League (PSL), scored unbeaten 103 runs and remain top scorer for his team.
Inform Sabbir Rahman also played great knock of 44 runs in just 26 balls and helped his team to put 180 runs on scoreboard.
Anwar Ali and Khawar Ali managed to took one wicket each from Oman side but failed to stop the runs coming from bats of Bangali batsmen.
