MUMBAI: Sister-in-law of actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha, Sheela Sinha passed away on Thursday night and Indian media claimed that she had committed suicide few days ago, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
The body of a 69-year-old woman was found in her home in Today Blossom society in Sector 47. Sheela, a doctor, was divorced and lived alone.
Police said she didn’t have any domestic help. Around 7 pm, Sinha’s neighbours complained of foul smell emerging from her flat. Cops opened into the apartment and found her hanging in the bedroom.
“The body had decomposed. The viscera has been sent for tests in FSL, Madhuban. No suicide note was found,” said ASI Manjusha, the investigating officer.
