PCB to face 1.5 billion loss if Pakistan team not play T20 CWC

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Shehryar Khan asked Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar to allow Pakistan cricket team to play International Cricket Council (ICC) Twenty20 Cricket World Cup 2016, as PCB already bear huge loss after the cancellation of Pak-India series, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

Shehryar Khan sent a letter to interior ministry along with assurance given by Chief Minister of Bangal in written form.

He said that if Pakistan cricket team fail to participate in T20 cricket world cup, than PCB will loss of Rs 1.5 billion. Indian interior minister Rajnath Singh claimed that Indian government will give foolproof security to Pakistan team in mega event of ICC.

Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh also took U-turn and claimed that government of Himachal Pradesh never refused to provide security to Pakistan team.

Earlier, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan demanded that Indian government should give assurance of security of Pakistan team in India.
