Government allows Green Shirts to play ICC T20 CWC in India: Sources

ISLAMABAD: After the surety of foolproof security given by Indian government to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Government of Pakistan allowed Green Shirts to play International Cricket Council (ICC) Twenty20 Cricket World Cup, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

Indian media claimed that Pakistan women cricket team will leave for India via private airline while due to late departure warm-up matches of Pakistan will be cancelled.

According to reports, Pakistan cricket team will leave for Indian to play mega event of ICC on March 12 at 3:00 AM. Interior minister of Pakistan Chaudhry Nisar took the decision just after the meeting with chairman Pakistan Super League (PSL) and famous journalist  Najam Sethi.

PCB chief, Shehryar Khan also contacted federal minister and told him about financial problems of Pakistan cricket faced due to the cancellation of Pakistan-India series.

He also mentioned in letter to interior ministry that Pakistan will be face loss of Rs 1.5 billion if Pakistan refuse to t20 Cricket World Cup.

West Bangal Cricket Association, Chief Minister of Bangal and high police officials of Kolkata assured Pakistan to provide foolproof security.

Pakistan cricket team play first match group match against 1st qualifier on March 16 and will meet Indian cricket team at Eden Gardens Kolkata on March 19.
