KARACHI: Two more senior leaders of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Waseem Aftab and Iftikhar Ahmed left MQM and joined un-named political party of Mustafa Kamal, TheNewsTribe.com.
Waseem Aftab and Iftikhar Ahmed joined the team of former city mayor Karachi, Mustafa Kamal and the announcement has been made during press conference in Karachi.
Mustafa Kamal welcomed Wasim Aftab and Iftikhar Ahmed for join the their team. He also paid special thanks to media persons for coming again and again.
Earlier, former leader of MQM, Doctor Sagheer Ahmed also left his party and joined the team of Mustafa Kamal and Aneed Qaim Khani.
According to Samma News, Hammad Siddiqui also arrived at Karachi just after four days of former city Nazim Karachi, Mustafa Kamal.
Senior analyst claimed that Hammad Siddiqui was a key member of MQM and his presence will change the political dynamics of Karachi.
Hammad Siddiqui had been working as the in-charge of the Karachi Tanzeemi Committee (KTC) of MQM, however his party membership was suspended in 2013 for violating discipline, following which Siddiqui moved to UAE.
