KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Thursday started Clean Karachi Campaign (CKC) from Line Area of Karachi, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
MQM started the CKC from Line Area of Karachi and government machinery were also shifted to line area and other parts of Karachi.
MQM workers are taking part in the campaign and senior leaders of MQM also present at different sites along with party workers.
The campaign has been started at Numaish Churangi, DMC South Karachi, Lines Area and other parts of Pakisatn’s largest city.
MQM’s nominated mayor of Karachi, Wasim Akhtar also monitoring the cleanliness campaign in the city. Earlier, Senior leader of MQMÂ invited Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Jammiat Ulam e Islam, Awami National Party and other political parties to clean Karachi.
While talking to media persons, he said that MQM leaders and supporters will take part in clean-up campaign and he also appealed residents of Karachi to participate in clean-up campaign.
