Hindu extremist group threatens to ‘dig up pitch’ if Pakistan play at Kolkata

MUMBAI: Hindu hardline group of India has threatened that to dig the pitch in HPCA stadium if Pakistan team comes to play against Indian team in Eden Gardens, Kolkata, TheNewsTribe.com learnt from Indian media.

Virender Shandilya, national president of Anti-Terrorist Front of India, said the Pakistan cricket team should not be allowed to play in the World Twenty20 match against India on March 19.

He threatened, “If the Pakistan team comes to play against India in Eden Gardens cricket stadium, Kolkata, we will dig the pitch in Eden Gardens stadium in protest.”

On the other hand Indian media claimed that Pakistan cricket team will leave for India to participate in International Cricket Council (ICC) Twenty20 Cricket World Cup 2016.
