LAHORE: Special committee formed by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to probe the poor performance of Pakistan team in Asia Cup 2016, has sacked the senior and junior selection committees on Thursday, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
Meeting of special committee was preside by member of governing board, Shakeel Shiekh. Test cricketers Younis Khan and Misbah ul Haq also attended the meeting.
According to sources , senior and junior selection committees have been sacked and decided to include newly retired cricketers in selection committees.
Chairman PCB Shahryar Khan was unhappy with Pakistan national team selection committee and he want to sack the selection committees.
On the other, Chief of PCB’s Executive Committee, and Chariman Pakistan Super League Najam Sethi stands slightly farther than Mr Khan, demanding head coach and captain also to be sacked along with Selection Committee.
