LAHORE: Provincial Education Minister, Rana Mashood on Tuesday claimed that majority of schools are open in Punjab, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
While talking to media persons, Rana Mashood said issue will be resolve soon after meeting with All Private Schools Federation.
He also claimed that demand of 10 percent annually raise in fee is not acceptable but he vowed to resolve the issue soon.
Earlier, Private School Federation and Pakistan Education Council announced to close schools in Punjab on 8,9 March.
Private School Federation ad Pakistan Education Council demanded Punjab government to allow 10 percent increase in school-fee.
According to bill passed by Punjab Assembly, private schools allowed to increase five percent fee annually. Private schools in Punjab will remain closed on 8,9 March.
Kashif Mirza, chairman Private School Federation, claimed that government threatened to send behind the bars.
