MIRPUR: Pakistan will meet Sri Lanka in the last group match of the Asia Cup 2016 on Friday at Sher e Bangla Cricket Stadium, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
Pakistan will try to bounce back to boost the moral for the upcoming mega event of International Cricket Council (ICC) Cricket World Cup T20.
It will be last and consolation game for two sides as both Pakistan and Sri Lanka have been out of the tournament.
Both sides will be looking for a win to uplift their confidence before entering into World Twenty in India.
Sources told that Shahid Afridi will be announced his decision soon. Sarfraz Ahmed will be the captain of team against Sri Lanka.
Earlier, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Sheharyar Khan has hinted that PCB is pondering over termination of Twenty20 skipper Shahid Khan Afridi.
While talking to media on Thursday, PCB Chairman Shahryar Khan stated that he is seeking ‘expert advice’ on this decision.
