MIRPUR: Indian cricket team easily qualified for the final of Asia Cup 2016, by winning back to back games and now they will meet United Arab Emirates (UAE) cricket team in their last group match at Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium, Dhaka, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
UAE cricket team failed to win a match in ongoing tournament but it will they opened new chapter in their cricket history by qualifying for Asia Cup for the very first time after brilliant performance in qualifying round.
UAE team also beat inform Afghanistan team and made their space with Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India and Bangladesh. Former Pakistani fast bowler Aqib Javed’s coaching put UAE team on track.
This game will be a practice match for Indian cricket team as they already qualified for final of first T20 Asia Cup where Bangladesh will lock horns with India to grab the trophy.
Indian won all the group matches so far while Bangladesh faced only a single defeat in Asia Cup. Bangladesh qualified for final of the tournament by beating Pakistan in a thriller game.
In last game of Asia Cup Bangladesh cricket team won the match by five wickets and knocked out Pakistan from Asia Cup.
Pakistan T20 skipper, Shahid Khan Afridi chose to bat first after winning the toss, but the top order collapsed badly once again, loosing three wicket on just 128 runs in 6th over.
Bangladesh in reply won the game by 5 wicket with 5 balls to spare, thanks to Muhammadullah’s fire power.
