Imran Khan shows anger over failures of Pakistan team in Asia Cup 2016

ISLAMABAD: Cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan blamed bad policies of Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif for the failure of Pakistan cricket, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

Imran Kha tweeted several tweets over the poor performance of Pakistan cricket team in ongoing Asia Cup and asked government to build Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) as institution.

Legendary cricketer said that  “Pakistani cricket fans anger at unceremonious exit of Pak team From T20 Asia Cup is understandable as our nation is oozing with talent.”

“However, this talent can only be polished if PCB becomes an institution built on merit, incl selection of its Head purely on merit,” he tweeted.

While criticizing policies of Nawaz Sharif, he tweeted that ” But how can we expect this PM to select PCB chief on merit when all orgs are being headed by cronies/ppl rewarded for services to Sharifs.”

Imran Khan who never lost hope, stressed that even with the current team, if the correct combinations are played there is enough talent for success.
