MIRPUR: Skipper of Pakistan cricket team Shahid Afridi refused to take part in training session of team before last match of Asia Cup 2016 against Sri Lankan team, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

Shahid Afridi refused participate in the training session of Pakistan team before match against Sri Lanka. Team management failed to find out the reasons behind Shahid Afridi’s decision.

According to details, team management informed the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) regarding Afridi’s decision to skip training session.

Media reports revealed that head coach of Pakistan team, Waqar Younis ignored Shahid Afridi during team meeting after match against Bangladesh.

In a crucial match against Bangladesh, Pakistan T20 skipper, Shahid Khan Afridi chose to bat first after winning the toss, and set the target of 130 runs in limited 20-over game.

Bangladesh in reply won the game by 5 wicket with 5 balls to spare, thanks to Muhammadullah’s fire power.
