Transporters refuses to obey CM Punjab orders

LAHORE: Punjab transporters ruled out the orders given by Chief Minister of Punjab as they refused to cut the transport fare in Punjab, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

Commuters stressed that transporters should cut the transport fares. They also claimed that transporters increased the stop-to-stop fare.

According to details, the chief minister stated that the reduction in petroleum products prices is heartening news for the nation.

Shehbaz Sharif ordered to  to lower the prices of commodities and transportation as early as possible. He issued special instructions  the relevant departments to provide maximum relief to the people.

Petrol and compressed natural gas (CNG) prices have been reduced by remarkable Rs 8 per litre and Rs 7 per kilogram (Kg) on Tuesday but transporters across the country not reduced the fare.

According to details, government reduced the petrol price by Rs 8 per litre and CNG Rs per litre. Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif approved the reduction after which diesel price is cut by Rs 4.5 per litre and petrol by Rs 8 per litre.

The revised prices have set the total at Rs 62.77 per litre for petrol while at Rs 71.12 for high speed diesel

The price of high octane has also been reduced by Rs 3 per litre while the PM rejected recommendation seeking reduction in kerosene oil price.
