NEPRA announces cut in power tariff for one month

ISLAMABAD: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) on Tuesday approved a reduction in tariff by Rs 4.11 for the month of March, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

NEPRA approved the cut in electric tariff only for one month. According to notification, under the monthly fuel adjustment plan.

According to details, the decision would not be implemented on those using 300 units/months.The new tariff, however, will not be applicable to K-Electric, which supplies power to Karachi.

It is worth mentioning here that Government of Pakistan also cut the petrol prices by Rs 8 per litre.
