All schools to remain closed in Rawalpindi, Islamabad

RAWALPINDI: All the schools, colleges and universities in twin-cities Rawalpindi and Islamabad have been decided to keep close on March 1st, 2016.

The decision was made by Private Schools Association citing security threats among current agitation in the country over Mumtaz Qadri’s execution.

Universities’ management from both cities have also mutually agreed to keep Quaid e Azam University, COMSETS University, NUST and Foundation University closed today (Tuesday).

It is pertinent to mention here that all the markets of Rawalpindi remained shutter down and traffic was blocked after people took to streets against mumtaz Qadris’s hanging.
