KARACHI: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) South Dr Jamil Ahmed, on Thursday ordered to launch First Information Report (FIR) against the founder of ‘Fix It’ campaign Alamgir Khan, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
According to details, DIG South said that after the long decision with SHO civil line decided to launch the FIR against Alamgir Khan.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) showed full support with Alamgir and demanded the release of young activist. Senior leader of PTI Imran Ismael and other supporters started protest outside the Civi Line police station.
Earlier, Karachi police on Thursday arrested founder of ‘Fix It’ campaign Alamgir Khan.
According to reports, Alamgir Khan arrived out side Chief Minister House along with truck full of garbage where police took the action and arrested Alamgir Khan and his driver.
Alamgir Khan tried to dump the garbage out side the CM house to record the protest. It is important to mention here that Alamgir Khan is also active member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Twitterarti also jumped into matter and slammed the Karachi police over the arrest of Alamgir Khan.
