‘Kisaan Package is a joke with nation, claims Shah Mahmood Qureshi

ISLAMABAD: National organiser Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that Kisaan Package is a joke with nation and asked government to imposed agriculture emergency in country, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

“I demand that the rulers impose an agriculture emergency in the country with immediate effect,” said the Vice Chairman while addressing a All Parties Conference (APC) organised by Pakistan Kissan Itehad.
Charter of demand also presented in a meeting and stressed that federal and provinces should icrease the ratio of stock.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that  Rs 341 billion Kissan Package declared by the government has been renamed to ‘Fraud Package’ by the farmers, questioning “Where is the Kissan Package?”
Shah Mehmood Qureshi further added that all respective associations representing farmers will present a ‘charter of demands’ in Islamabad on Wednesday and asked that the government should consider their demands.
