KARACHI: Former President of Pakistan and chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarian (PPP), Asif Zardari came with fresh stance over the service issue of Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif and said that statement was issued by Army Chief not on the right time, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
Asif Zardari admired the struggles and sacrifices of Pakistan army and said that PPP will stand behind the army of Pakistan.
“Raheel Shairf’s statement of withdrawal from extension in service was not on the right time because Pakistan is fight against terrorism,” he added.
He claimed that after terror attack on Army Public School (APS) Peshawar, Pakistan faced crucial situation. Asif Ali Zardari changed his stance and policy towards Pakistan army.
Earlier, after Rangers operation in Karachi, former president openly challenged the army and vowed to gave tough time to army.
