CAPETOWN: Former leg-spinner of Australian cricket team Shane Warne was bitten by snake on his head during reality show in South Africa, TheNewsTribe.com learnt from international media.
According to details, Shane Warne was treated by medics after bitten by snake on set of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! in jungle of South Africa.
Warne received some small marks, but will bear no permanent scarring.
“The box contained anacondas, rat snakes and corn snakes. The juvenile anaconda is the one that actually struck Shane. It‘s non-venomous but very aggressive. Anacondas have 100 rear-facing teeth. Being bitten by one is like getting 100 hypodermic needles at once,” a Network Ten spokesperson reportedly told news.com.au.
In the show‘s Tucker Trial segment, Warne had to collect stars, which represented meals for his hungry camp mates, using only his mouth in the race-against-time challenge.
