Akmal, Maqsood keep Qalandars’ hopes alive

DUBAI: AfFter a great fight back from Sohaib Maqsood and Umar Akmal, Lahore Qalandars have put up 151 runs  target for Islamabad United in last league match of Pakistan Super League.

Qalandars’ skipper Azhar Ali chose to bat first after winning the toss, but his top order failed prove hi decision right once again, as they lost their first three wickets on just 6 runs on the board.

It was a game-over situation for Qalandars when Sohaib Maqsood (59) and Umar Akmal (72*) lived up to the expectations of fans and took the score to 15o/5 in 20 overs.

Bravo (13) also played his part for Qalandars.

Tall Pakistan pacer Mohammad Irfan was pick of the bowlers from Islamabad United for his 3-22 in four overs.
