How you shake hands with the other person tells a lot about you. Here is what it says,
The Sweaty Palms Handshake
Sweaty palms indicate that you are nervous at the instance and are likely to create an unpleasant feeling in the mind of the person you are shaking hands with.
The Dead Fish
Of all the handshakes, this one is the worst. There is no energy in this handshake and there isn’t any warmth either. Avoid this at any and all costs.
The Brush Off
This handshake is pretty quick. It doesn’t even feel like a handshake and the person doing this kind of handshake is doing it just for the sake of formality.
The Two Handed Shake
This kind of handshake says a lot. It depicts trust, honesty, friendship and respect. But if while doing so, the person’s hand reaches your forearm or elbows or even the wrist, they want something from you.
The Controller
People who grab your hand and try to direct it the way they want are controllers and they want to control your moves.
The Finger Vice
When someone grabs your fingers, it clearly means only one thing – they want to keep you at a distance.
The Bone Crusher
Bone crushers only want to show how firm they are and if you respond to the handshake as strongly, they might immediately like you!
The Lobster Claw
This is how a lobster claw looks and therefore it is inevitable that they shake hands very clumsily. They are shy and perhaps need more time with you.
The Top Handed Handshake
This person feels superior to you and is trying to show that through the handshake.
The Distant Handshake
These people want to keep themselves away from you – at least until they get to know you. Give them the space.
