LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will announce the squad for World Cup T20 and Asia Cup as Pakistan Super League (PSL) is on way, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
According to details, Chief Selector Haroon Rasheed and Head Coach Waqar Younis have decided to send the list of players to ICC as the deadline expires today.
PCB has requested the ICC to announce the names after a week as players are performing in Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Sources told that Umar Gul, Sohaib Maqsood, Muhammad Rizwan are likely to drop from the squad while Ahmad Shahzad, who smashed 70 runs against Karachi Kings in Pakistan Super League (PSL), can make place in the team.
Kamran Akmal and Rumman Raees, Asghar have been included in the team while Muhammad Irfan would not be the part of the game.
