Aus vs NZ 2nd ODI: Australia on driving seat, updates

WELLINGTON: Australia looking good after getting target of 281 runs against New Zealand at Westpac stadium Wellington, New Zealand.

New Zealand after winning the toss chose to bat first and put 281 runs for loss of 9 wickets on board courtesy to Kane Williamson’s 60 and Santner’s 45 at the end of the innings.

Josh Hazlewood took  wickets while Boland, Mitchell Marsh and Zampa took wickets each.

Australia started confidently after getting mamoth total on the board, David Warner and Usman Khawaja completed their half century stand, both are looking good on crease.

At the moment Australia are 61-0 in 8 overs. Khawaja and Warner are on crease with 33 and 24 runs respectively.

New Zealand obliterated the Australians in the first meeting on Wednesday, bowling the visitors out for just 148 runs in less than 25 overs, ultimately claiming a 159-run victory.
