33 held during search operation in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Police and Law Enforcement Agencies on Thursday morning has conducted a search operation in different sites of Peshawar, District of Khyber PakhtunKhwa, Pakistan, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

According to details, Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) has detained at least 33 people in the operation including 6 Afghan nationals.

All the suspects have been shifted to unknown place for further investigations.

Police spokesman told media that lethal weapons and ammunitions have been recovered from the possession of suspects.

This operation was conducted on information provided by the intelligence agencies on presence of Taliban’s suspects.

All the entering and exit points had been closed during the search operation.
