Pakistan vs New Zealand 3rd ODI: Guptill out

AUCKLAND: Finally a sigh of hope for Pakistan as Kiwi premier batsman Martin Guptill has been sent back to hut in final match of series at Eden Park, Auckland.

Part time spinner and skipper of Pakistan Azhar Ali took wicket of dangerous looking Guptill with the help of Shoaib Malik who took an easy catch at Point.

Guptill scored 82 runs and made a partnership of 159 runs with Kane Williamson who is still on crease with 84 runs.

Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat first and put 290 runs on the board courtesy to Mohammad Hafeez and Babar Azam’s 76 and 83 runs respectively.

Pakistan was going very smoothly when Hafeez and Babar were on the crease but then sudden fall of wickets put visitors on back foot and they were only restricted to 290 in 48th over.

Kiwis pacer Adam Milne took three wickets while Trent Boult and Henry grabbed two wickets each.

At the moment NZ are 180-2 in 29 overs.
