Pakistan vs New Zealand 3rd ODI live streaming

AUCKLAND: Pakistan will be seeking greater stability in the side to level the ODI series as they take on New Zealand in the final fixture of the tour on Sunday, January 31 at Auckland.

The three-match One-Day International (ODI) series between New Zealand and Pakistan reaches its climax, with the final game set to be played at the Eden Park in Auckland on Sunday. After surrendering the Twenty20 International (T20I) series 1-2, Pakistan trail in the current series to the rampaging hosts by a 0-1 margin, with the second game washed out due to rain.

The visitors will look to end their campaign in the country on a positive note with a series – levelling victory that will help boost their morale ahead of the tougher contests that lie on the road ahead in the form of the Asia Cup and the ICC World T20 2016, which are to be hosted by Bangladesh and India respectively.

Shoaib Malik got injury on hi foot during practice session before opening One Day International (ODI) match of the series. New Zealand took the lead over Pakistan by winning first ODI match of the series and it is last chance for Pakistan to save the series and end it up with 1-1.

Earlier, head coach of Pakistan cricket team Waqar Younis asked Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) that he is ready to resign from his post. According to media reports, after the heavy criticism on head coach after the poor performance in recent Twenty20 and One Day International series, Waqar Younis offered resignation to PCB.

Skipper of Pakistan T20 Shahid Afridi will also meet with selection committee for the future planning. Waqar Younis also participate in the meeting via telephone call.

Former Test cricket Pakistan cricket team, Sikandar Bakht claimed that Waqar Younis failed to absorb the pressure. Players were also failed to perform good under the leadership of Waqar.
