RAWALPINDI: General Raheel Sharif, Chief of Army Staff, Thursday said that Pakistan Army would always respond to the call of the nation, be it for defence of the country or during natural calamities.
According to a press release issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the COAS visited Hyderabad Garrison, where he met officers, troops and veterans of the formation and Sindh Regimental Centre.
During his visit, Gen Raheel appreciated the formation for their performance in operations and security.
He also laid floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada and offered Fateha.
Earlier on arrival at Hyderabad, General Raheel Sharif was received by Lieutenant General Naveed Mukhtar, Corps Commander Karachi.
